New Beginnings
Life is full of new beginnings.
New chapters in our lives.
We live, we do, we grow, we outgrow, and we move to bigger and better things.
This past Thursday was a big day for me. I quit my coffee shop job and am going to be doing personal training FULL TIME. That means more time to spend learning new tools, new movements, more ways to become the best coach I can be. It also means more time freed up to truly create my business and begin to further my career and help as many people as I possibly can.
Just yesterday I was thinking about how a little over a year ago, I was just beginning my journey. I had my PT certification and had one semester left of college. That being said, I still had absolutely NO CLUE what I was doing with my life and where I wanted to go.
I began my internship at MVMNT Studio, and that’s when everything changed. I saw my calling. I knew I wanted to help people in some way, I just didn’t know how-until then.
I want to be a support system. I want to teach things to people that they have never in their life heard before and change the way they go about life because of it. I want to help people move better, feel better, without pain or fear of reinjury.
The fitness industry can be a toxic space. Diet culture can be a toxic space. I am here to dismantle the statements that have been drilled into our heads about what being healthy and fit is and show people there is another way.
A way of balance. And intention. Without the burnout. Without the pain and extreme soreness.
I am so unbelievably thankful for this life I have been given.
I am so hopeful, eager, excited and ready to share all that I can with each and every single one of you.
